Crystal KelchDirector (e-mail:  Ms. Kelch has been with MCID Washington since its inception and assumed the position of Director in January 2003. For the past decade, the International Visitor Leadership Program has been the focal point of Ms. Kelch’s career. During the course of this time she has created countless insightful programs for distinguished visitors from across the globe and she continues to provide strong leadership for both the organization and its staff. Ms. Kelch’s previous professional experience includes facilitating public-private partnerships and business linkages between American and foreign companies and managing investor portfolios at a nationally recognized investment management firm. She holds a M.B.A, with a sub-specialty in International Management, from American University and a B.A from Boston University.

Jeana LimSenior Program Manager (e-mail:  Ms. Lim joined MCID in 2005. Her previous experience includes coordinating local community service and volunteer programs; managing large-scale projects for Washington, DC and New York law firms; and teaching ESL in Japan. Her particular interest in the Asia-Pacific region also includes study and travel in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Ms. Lim holds a B.A. in Political Science (with a concentration in international affairs) from Grinnell College and a M.A. in Public Management from the University of Maryland, College Park.

Lillian MattiaccioSenior Program Manager (e-mail:  Ms. Mattiaccio joined MCID in July 2005. Her previous experience includes work with international exchange and study abroad programs, international training and community development. Prior to moving to Washington, DC, Ms. Mattiaccio spent several years living and working in Guinea, West Africa. She has traveled extensively throughout Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe and is fluent in Spanish and French and conversational in Pulaar. Ms. Mattiaccio holds a M.A. in International Education, with a focus on cross-cultural communication and arts-based programs, from George Washington University.

Katie TaamProgram Manager (e-mail:  Ms. Taam joined MCID in February 2017. Prior to working with the organization, she worked on the Iraq and Palestinian Territories Fulbright Foreign Student Program as well as several private scholarship programs and was the international student advisor at a small university in Tennessee. She holds an M.Sc. in international relations from the University of Glasgow, and has studied at both Sciences Po Lille and the University of Edinburgh during her undergraduate studies at American University and MTSU from which she obtained a B.A. in global studies and a B.S. in international relations. She speaks French and is in the process of learning Arabic.

Ava D’SaAssociate Program Manager (e-mail: Ms. D’Sa joined MCID in August 2018. Before working with MCID, she served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Cambodia. She has experience working with the U.S. Embassy in New Delhi and cultural exchange programs based in DC. She holds a B.A. in political science from Loyola University in New Orleans.

Danielle FallinProgram Coordinator (e-mail: Ms. Fallin joined MCID in October 2019. Before she joined the MCID DC team, she was a programming intern at Meridian International Center and a participant of the Washington Center, an competitive academic program based in Washington D.C. In 2018, she spent six months studying international relations in northern Thailand. She obtained a B.A. in international and global studies from the University of Central Florida.

Isabella ParrottaProgram Coordinator (e-mail: Ms. Parrotta joined MCID in March 2020. Before joining MCID, she interned at both World Learning and the World Trade Center Institute. She is a graduate of American University where she obtained a B.A. in International Studies with a double minor in History and International Business. She also studied abroad at Queen’s University Belfast. She speaks Italian and French.

Julius Bass – Director of Finance (e-mail:  Mr. Bass serves as MCID’s Director of Finance. A graduate of Jackson State University, Mr. Bass has worked with the organization since its inception.
